Mohammad Sani works
with people in the Third World. He shows them how they can exploit
solar energy using a machine they can build themselves from cheap
materials. Sani invented this machine himself. During his last trip he
saw a bomb explode in Iraq. Many people were killed. Then Mohammed Sani
stopped eating. He just couldn’t face food. He lost twenty-five kilos.
He was so weak, he could have been knocked over by a gust of wind. He
is recovering now. “Now I have to taste everything”, he says when we
sit down to eat together. “At last I can enjoy my food again.” When I
met Mohammed Sani he only had five months left to live.
